Baithak: A Place to Gather, A Space to Belong
Some conversations deserve more than a rushed coffee meeting.
Some stories deserve more than a social media caption.
And some moments become meaningful simply because people choose to sit together and share them.
That is the spirit of Baithak.
In many Indian homes, a baithak was the room where people gathered. A place for stories, laughter, debate, reflection, and connection. Not because there was an agenda, but because there was value in simply being together.
We wanted to bring that feeling back.
Not as an event.
Not as a networking session.
But as a space where people could pause, listen, share, and leave feeling a little more connected than when they arrived.
Baithak #1
Our first Baithak was hosted with Homanan, bringing together a small group of women from different walks of life.
The conversation moved naturally between creativity, personal journeys, ambition, self-expression, and the unexpected twists that shape who we become.
There were no panels. No perfectly rehearsed answers.
Just people sharing experiences, learning from one another, and discovering how many threads connect seemingly different stories.
It reminded us that often the most meaningful insights come not from experts on a stage, but from people sitting across from us.
Baithak #2:
For our second Baithak, we partnered with Somahna Consultants for an intimate conversation of the often overlooked skill of listening deeply, understanding people, and helping them navigate decisions.
The discussion explored how meaningful guidance isn't about having all the answers. It's about asking the right questions.
Participants shared experiences from work, relationships, entrepreneurship, and personal growth, uncovering how thoughtful conversations can change the way we see ourselves and the choices we make.
What emerged wasn't just a discussion about consultation, but a reflection on empathy, curiosity, and connection.
Baithak #3: Rishikesh
Our journey now continues to Rishikesh.
A place known for slowing down, reflecting, and reconnecting—with nature, with community, and with ourselves.
As Baithak travels beyond Delhi, the intention remains the same: to create spaces where meaningful conversations can unfold naturally, where stories can be exchanged freely, and where people can leave feeling inspired by perspectives different from their own.
Each Baithak is different because every gathering is shaped by the people who attend it.
And that's exactly how it should be.
More Than An Event
At Nodes of Destiny, we've always believed that stories matter.
Every piece of jewellery we create begins with a story worth remembering.
Baithak extends that belief beyond jewellery.
It's an invitation to celebrate the stories that shape us before they're turned into keepsakes, milestones, or memories.
It's about community.
It's about conversation.
It's about preserving something increasingly rare in today's world: genuine human connection.
Join The Next Baithak
We're building a growing list of people who would like to attend future Baithaks as they happen.
If you'd like to join an upcoming gathering, we'd love to hear from you.
And if you have a space, community, or idea you'd like to bring to life, we would love to explore hosting a Baithak together.
Send us a DM to join the interest list or enquire about hosting a future Baithak.
The conversation is only just beginning.
